SPRING ROLLS
 |
Ingredients:
8 tbsp flour
2 tbsp cornflour
½ cup water
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp chopped ginger
250gm chicken boneless
1 cup cabbage shredded
½ cup carrot shredded
½ cup onion shredded
½ cup capsicum shredded
½ cup bean sprouted
1½ tsp salt
1 tbsp ajinomoto
1 tbsp soya sauce
Pinch of ajinomoto

Method
1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add
chopped ginger and saute it. Then add chicken and the vegetables
and stir it for 2 minutes.
2. Then add chicken, and the remaining vegetables, salt, ajinomoto
and soya sauce.
3. Remove from heat and strain it so that the excess water flow out.
4. Sieve the flour and the cornflour. Add salt, egg and water , mix
it well to form a thin pouring batter.
5. Pour 2 tbsp batter on non- stick tawa and make a pancake.Fry the
pancake on one side. Pile all pancakes together on a plate.
6. Put a heaped tbsp of the flling on the fried side of the pancake.
7. Moisten the edges with flour paste. Fold ½" from the other
two sides to seal the filling and roll up.
8. Keep rolls in a tray and cover with damp towel.
9. Deep fry over medium heat until golden brown and crisp .Cut into 2
- 3 pieces. |
